Hi, my name is
About Me
I’m a product-centric technology leader with deep experience in start-up and high-growth companies leading engineering, product management, and information security teams.
I’ve taken several companies through the funding lifecycle (Series A - D), led product and tech due diligence for M&A, and focus heavily on collaboration, with an emphasis on go-to-market and being customer-facing.
Additionally, I grew up programming and still enjoy it to this day but my main focus is people, process, and enabling teams and individuals to exceed their own expectations.
I've helped bring several products to market through my career:- Mobile-first student success platform for global higher-ed customers
- Digital patient engagement platform to connect and schedule patients into the right care
- First cloud-native security platform built for Amazon Web Services customers
- Predictive analytics product and claims management platform for Fortune 200 property & casualty insurance carriers
- Enterprise microservice, identity, and security architectures and implementations for large healthcare provider organization
- Adaptive e-learning authoring and delivery platform for Global 2000 companies
Recent Roles
Lead global engineering, product management and security teams to deliver mobile-first student success platform to over 700 customers in 26 countries helping 7M+ students persist and succeed in their higher education pursuits
Lead engineering and product management teams to scale market-leading patient access platform, enable key partnerships with Epic, Cerner, Athena, Salesforce, and Microsoft, close Series D (2021), and lead acqusition of Healthsparq (closed Mar 2021)
Built engineering team and launched product at AWS Re:Invent 2014, scaled company through Series A, B, C, delivered platform processing billions of security events per day for AWS-based businesses

Started drumming at age 10 and later in high school picked up guitar. These days I play whenver I can and record at home.
Music has long been a passion and I’ve been fortunate enough to write and record with some amazing musicians and love playing live.

- Combined computer science with communications, particularly human interface design, which wasn’t a thing back then so I created my own plan of study with help from heads of CS and Corporate Communication departments

- Academic Computer Services tech creating custom solutions to manage campus Macintosh and UNIX computing environment
